Putnam County Services for New Moms | Hudson Valley Newborn Photographer

I have the opportunity - and honor - of meeting moms while baby is still brand new. Often times mom is still navigating breastfeeding, latching and weight gain concerns. There is such a huge learning curve in the beginning, having knowledgeable, helpful and kind support is a must. Putnam County has an amazing program for it's residents where a visiting nurse will come to the house and help you with nursing, weight checks and answer any questions you have about baby and postpartum recovery.

Often times my clients will have delivered in a hospital outside of Putnam and don't learn about these FREE services, the only requirement is being a resident. We all know taxes are high here in Putnam, so I always encourage moms to take advantage of the service that they are already paying for anyways. Even if things are going smoothly, it is always nice to have encouragement and peace of mind.
