Newborn Boy Photo Session | Westchester Newborn Photography

Usually Mom is the first one to contact me with interest in a photography session. This time it was Dad who contacted me first, wanting to buy a gift for his wife. Many times grandma or a close friend will come to buy a gift and my advice is always the same..beat around the bush first and make sure they are interested in a newborn session! Newborn sessions are typically done in the first 2 weeks of life and not everyone is up for the task of venturing out for a day of pictures that soon. But these two had been browsing newborn photography together online, after coming across my site together he decided to surprise her with a newborn session with me...how sweet! I knew it would be a perfect fit.

Their session was as smooth as can be with a very sleepy baby! I loved watching how gentle these new parents were with their baby, you could just feel the love in the room! They left most of the designing of the session up to me, liking more neutrals with some blues. They did also bring a homemade blanket along with them to include something with sentimental value.
