Common fear in 2nd time parents | Hudson Valley Newborn Photograher

I normally would have right by this article...should I know who Emily Skye is?? But I remember this feeling quite clearly - though I never articulated it to anyone. Reading this though, I realize just how common this feeling is. Worrying that you couldn't possibly love your second child as much as your first. It seems silly now that my children are grown and each hold a special place in my heart. But back when my first was still quite young and the thought of having a second child still so new...this fear was quite real. Many people in this article are quoted as having the same fear - and then all having the same realization when 2nd baby finally comes - your heart simply grows....it just does - no love is compromised, there is just suddenly more of it to go around....and I think that is pretty amazing!
